[day56] i need a life

I found meaning
I found a mission
I found a lord
I found religion
I found something I never had
I'm not sure what but it's not half bad
& I'm glad
I'm so, so glad
Those party habits are gone & dead
I'm turning in my old sinful ways
For a dull new life so I can pray, pray, pray

*photographic timeline of my day*

1. & 2. Watched my mother participate in a protest against the budget cuts...and caught a glimpse of her strong and liberating ways [i participated as well...but wasn't as convincing as she was!]

3. Was using the restroom facilities in the library and happened to look up in front of me and there was a sign telling me how beautiful I was. Felt kind of creeped out that maybe someone was watching me, but took it as a compliment and wondered how it may have affected others who wandered into that particular stall.

4. Was shelving books on the 4th floor South, and stumbled on a familiar man/book...definitely took a minute to admire it :]

5. God distracted while sorting books....beeeecause I came across a book about the 50 worst made cars in history. Every page had a quote that started off with, "If this car was...". I just thought this one was pretty entertaining. [Yes a Volvo model was in it, but luckily it was a crappy looking model made in the late 70's http://www.volvobertone.com/images/1979usa.jpg .

5. And lastly, I had been looking for a section of a photostrip that my mom had taken with me as a baby. I loved the picture because half of my massive head was cut out of it, but my mom looked pretty amazing.
