This was a an assignment for my portfolio class. My challenge was to take "ordinary" items from around the house and attempt to make them different and intriguing.









This was a project for a photo concept course I took this semester. I was focusing on sexuality and the degradation of intimacy that is seen in the media and society.










These are just some shot's I took of individuals in Venice beach on a Sunday afternoon.

My name's Monica Prather and I chose to set my self-portrait up in this fashion because I feel like art and creativity are the base of me as an individual. I'm nude [or a appear to be!] because I consider myself a blank canvas that is always open and ready for influence from anything. I love experiencing different forms of art and incorporating whatever I can into my work.
